We find the road from Dawson City to Tok to be mostly dry and in great shape. The fears I had were completely misplaced. The stories we had heard were unfounded or at least misplaced. Several riders talked of lots of flat tires from the sharp rocks, deep mud and miserable conditions. We found none of that. Our confidence has grown and I am particularly happy with the new Hedenaour (sp) tires.
We find our B&B to be the perfect end to our day. Kathy found this little gem for us.
Just coming into Alaska has me feeling a high, slightly giddy deep in my guts. It’s like coming home after a long trip. Comfortable surroundings.
